At this Rally, he will be giving away 110 free copies of his book, 90 Minutes in Heaven (60 Spanish and 50 English), to Uvalde persons in attendance who were involved in the Robb School tragedy.
About Don Piper
In 1989, Don Piper’s car was hit head-on by a semi-truck. Emergency personnel responded and pronounced him dead on the scene. A passing minister received permission to enter Don’s car and began praying over the lifeless body. Ninety minutes later, Don returned to life on earth with vivid memories of God’s perfect place—Heaven. Thirty-four operations and years of recovery forced Don and his family to find a “new normal.” His inspirational story has touched millions worldwide, helping many find hope following tragedy and loss and better understand Heaven and God’s plan for us here and in the hereafter.
After his death, Don returned from the gates of Heaven to endure 13 excruciating months of hospitalization, 34 major surgeries, including some never before attempted in the United States, and years of painful therapy and rehabilitation. He now shares his incredible lessons of answered prayer, miracles, overcoming tragedy, pain and loss, and the reality of Heaven. He has mesmerized and inspired nearly three thousand audiences around the globe since the release of his New York Times bestselling book, 90 Minutes in Heaven, in 2004. Plan to join us as we learn more about Heaven, God’s plan for us in the midst of tragedy, and ask God to help us take steps toward recovery from tragedy.
